Somatic Experiencing® is a bottom-up somatic therapy system encouraging nervous system regulation, c-ptsd recovery & harm reduction in trauma resolution. Leah uses SE™ to assist clients in shifting habitual survival patterns to create boundary repair after rupture & to resolve fragmented trauma.
SE™ work is slow & deep, providing space for the body to tell its story via less time spent on personal narrative & more time inside our somatic experience, emotional embodiment & instinctive experience of the five survival responses - fight, flight, freeze, fawn & kill. The body’s priority system guides each session, while together we integrate fragmentation due to ptsd / c-ptsd after accident, sports injury, abuse, assault, war exposure, intergenerational trauma, developmental trauma & more.
Leah works with people from all walks of life in their quest to heal, both personally & inter-generationally, specializing in SE™ work with athletes, the LGBTQIA+ community & neurodivergent people. A commitment of 3 sessions is suggested for new clients.
SE™ sessions are $125, 75 minutes, via zoom.
*Sliding scale always available.
